ABOUT

I’m T E G Hunt, a filmmaker and editor based in London. I make horror shorts, twisted little docs and AI powered film experiments on tiny budgets and too many ideas. I’m happiest when I am building something from scratch, finding a tone, shaping a story and wrestling it into something watchable.

Over the last few years I have made a few dozen films, from black and white apocalypse pieces to mockumentaries about trolls farming hate, along with animated fables, behind the scenes docs and podcast trailers that have picked up millions of views. I like projects that feel a bit strange, a bit scrappy and genuinely alive.

I graduated with a First in Film & Media from Birkbeck, where I wrote, directed and edited It Takes a Village (78), a slow burn zombie short, and Darkness of Heart (79), a behind the scenes mini doc inspired by Hearts of Darkness and The Battle of Shepards Bush (80). Before that I spent years in production offices and on sets at places like Publicis CaST, Camera Eye, Partizan and James English Productions, learning how shoots actually run and how to keep things tidy when everything is on fire.

I work across editing, motion design, practical workflows, directing, shot planning and AI assisted visuals. On a good day I bounce between Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Gemini without losing the plot. On a great day I get to shoot something myself and dive back into the mess of it all. If you would like to talk about a project, collaborate or just argue about which 80s sci fi film has aged best, head to the contact page and say hello.  You can also find me on LinkedIn at
