THE TORTOISE & THE HARE
6 Nov 2025
Writer, Director, Editor, AI Supervisor
I made this as a proof of concept to see how far I could push realistic animal filmmaking without putting a single creature in harm’s way. Everything is digital, but I treated it like a proper wildlife shoot with shot lists, lens choices and behaviour rules to keep it grounded. I built and refined the visuals in Premiere Pro and After Effects, only letting the surreal creep in when the hare panics. What really brought it together was the VO by the amazing Bethanie Hayes.
TROLL FARM
24 Aug 2025
Writer, Director, Editor, Producer
Troll Farm is a fake 1970s documentary about a rural operation growing online hate like a crop. I mixed live action presenter footage with tightly produced AI material, then graded and damaged everything to feel like a grim old BBC investigation. I cut it in Premiere Pro and built the sound in layers so the tone stays dry and unsettling. It is one of my favourite pieces because it shows I can blend AI and live action without letting the tech drown the out story.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE
Writer, Director, Producer, Editor, Actor
26 Apr 2025
This is my final year University project marked 80. I made a short zombie film about a father in the countryside doing terrible things for his undead daughter. I shot it with a tiny crew using a Sony A7 and an iPhone, leaning hard into natural locations and a stark black and white grade. I enhanced location shots with AI imagery. I cut and mixed it in Premiere Pro, shaping performance, tension and atmosphere out of very little time and very little money. It taught me how to run a set, keep actors safe, solve problems fast and trust that discipline beats budget every time.
DARKNESS OF HEART
25 Apr 2025
Director, Editor, Producer, Voice Over
Produced for the Principles of Digital Video and Editing module and marked 75. This behind the scenes short pulls together interviews, raw on set moments and split screen comparisons of storyboard, previs and final cut. I approached it like a mini Hearts of Darkness style documentary, with a serious narration that gently pokes fun at our chaos. Everything was assembled in Premiere Pro with layered timelines and long audio beds. It shows how I run documentation on set and how I translate process into something watchable rather than homework.
DECKTALES TRAILER 2
15 Apr 2025
Director, Editor, Designer
These two animated trailers were created for the cruise ship podcast DeckTales, using cut out artwork, collage humour and fast, slightly unhinged storytelling. I designed the assets in Photoshop and animated everything in Premiere Pro so the style feels handmade but still sharp enough for a proper campaign. The first trailer, which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/QYIj1d97pwY, has picked up more than four million impressions on Instagram, which is ridiculous for something stitched together out of digital scraps. Both spots were delivered in multiple aspect ratios for different platforms, and together they show how I approach social friendly promo work with personality, not templates.
AUTOMATON
4 Nov 2024
Writer, Director, Editor, Performer
Automaton is a sci fi horror comedy about three malfunctioning robots, all played by me. I shot it quickly in one location with simple lighting and a small digital camera, then built each character in the edit with timing, rhythm and sound design. I did the grade and mix in Premiere Pro and treated it like I was editing a real ensemble cast even though it was just me and a couple of pals. It is a good example of how I handle performance driven films with almost no resources.
PERMUTABLE.AI EXPLAINER
2 Jul 2025
Director, Editor, Motion Graphics
I created this explainer for a real client who needed complex ESG data turned into something clean and phone friendly. I designed a simple blue and white line based visual language in After Effects and cut the timing around a fast, clear voiceover in Premiere Pro. Everything was built to be readable on a small screen and to match the brand. It is the kind of job where clarity beats flashiness and it shows how I can work inside a brand system without losing energy.
THIS IS WHERE I GREW UP
5 Jun 2024
Writer, Director, Editor
This was my first practical module at uni and it scored 69. I made the film by mixing new footage of familiar streets with family photos and a quiet voiceover about class and memory. I shot on a phone and a 5D, leaned into natural light and handheld framing, then used crossfades, still pans and layered textures in Premiere Pro to give it a scrapbook feel, with photos laid over video to show how the spaces around one house had changed over time and been woven into family life. It reminded me how much I enjoy making small documentary pieces that feel personal without turning into therapy, and it shows the quieter side of my work.
MR MOTIVATOR x BARNARDO’S
19 Feb 2023
Writer, Director, Editor
I made this kids fitness and wellbeing video for Barnardo’s, hosted by Mr Motivator. I worked with multi camera setups, tightened the structure in Premiere Pro and kept everything bright, friendly and easy to follow for both seated and standing viewers. The pacing had to be crystal clear because children follow along in real time. It is a solid example of branded educational content built with clarity and reliability in mind.
KATE MOSS x ARA VARTANIAN
19 May 2017
Editor
This is a short fashion promo featuring Kate Moss for Ara Vartanian. My job was to take the existing footage and cut it into something sleek, simple and luxurious in Premiere Pro. The edit needed to feel dreamy and like a never ending party while keeping the timing tight. It is a nice example of me working inside a high pressure, high end brand environment without losing control of rhythm or polish.
